Focus Homestead is a cozy productivity game where real tasks become coins, building materials, and a homestead that grows with your progress. Choose up to four priorities for the week, finish what matters, and spend your rewards on a world of your own.

The complete 0.1.0-alpha is available as a non-expiring Free Demo. A $4.99 minimum purchase supports continued development and includes future itch releases. Both launch editions contain the same complete alpha and are available as a Windows installer or portable executable.

How it works

1. Create the projects and tasks that matter to you.
2. Choose up to four Focus tasks for the week.
3. Complete work to earn coins; finishing fresh Focus tasks pays best.
4. Spend coins on blocks, materials, and decorations.
5. Build a Homestead that reflects the progress you made.
6. At the weekly rollover, finish, split, carry over, or cancel anything left behind.

Who it is for

Focus Homestead is mainly for me.

What do I mean by that? I have always had trouble focusing on a single task. When everything felt important at the same time, I often became stuck and nothing got done. I needed something that encouraged me to start small, choose what mattered right now, and gave me a tangible reward for following through.

That is why I built Focus Homestead. It turns progress into something I can see: a small world that grows whenever I finish the work I chose to focus on.

If ordinary checkboxes are difficult to care about, it might be for you too. It may especially appeal to students, developers, creators, productivity enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a gentler and more tangible relationship with their task list.

Free demo and paid alpha

The Free Demo is the complete launch-day version of Focus Homestead 0.1.0-alpha. It never expires and has no limits. It includes unlimited projects and tasks, all four Weekly Focus slots, the complete launch catalogue and Homestead area, local saving, settings, accessibility options, and screenshot export.

At launch, the Free Demo and the $4.99 paid alpha contain the same app. The Free Demo remains on the launch-day version, while buying the paid alpha supports continued development and gives you access to future itch updates.

Both editions are available as a Windows installer or portable executable.

A purchase does not currently include a Steam key or Steam ownership.

The paid alpha funds continued polish and provides future itch releases. Itch allows buyers to pay above the minimum if they want to support development. The price may rise for new buyers as the game approaches 1.0; existing itch buyers keep access to later itch alpha updates.

Download options

Choose Windows Portable to run Focus Homestead directly without installation. Choose Windows Installer for a normal installed copy and automatic WebView2 setup when required.

Both formats use the same local save. Switching between the installer and portable versions does not reset your tasks, progress, inventory, or Homestead.

Windows requirements

• 64-bit Windows 10 version 1709 or later, or Windows 11
• x64 processor
• Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime
• Keyboard and mouse
• At least 860×620 usable display space; 1280×720 or larger recommended

The portable version requires Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime to already be installed. If the portable version does not open, use the Windows installer.

The installer checks for WebView2 and downloads it when missing, so installation may require an internet connection. Normal Focus Homestead use remains offline.

Privacy and saves

Focus Homestead has no account, advertising, analytics, telemetry, or cloud sync. Task content and Homestead data are stored locally in an unencrypted SQLite database. Anyone or any program with access to your Windows account may be able to read it.

Before applying an alpha update, close the app and back up:

Do not restore a database created by a newer app into an older version.

Feedback and support

This is an alpha: bugs and rough edges are expected, but your save should matter. Please report the Focus Homestead version, your Windows version, steps to reproduce the issue, and any visible FH-* support code. Never post your database publicly.
